Stainless Steel Welded

Welded carbon steel pipes stainless steel
Standard welding processes such as TIG, MIG, and stick can be used for welded carbon steel pipes stainless steel pipes. Coal Class E standard welding electrodes, such as E70 and 7018 can be used for MIG and sticks respectively. However, these welding electrodes in this type of welding, weld quality can be compromised due to lack of chromium and nickel in the alloy. Therefore, it is important to use stainless steel electrodes of high-carbon to have a strong solder joint between the steel and stainless steel pipes. In particular, the type of welding electrodes 309 have the right composition to ensure adequate funding, good penetration and a structural integrity. Similarly, the following steps should be used in this type of welding:
Step 1: Load or the tail of the welding wire MIG welding machine with like 309 after the withdrawal son on and solder used for other jobs.
Step 2: Replace the gas with the mixture three shielding gas. You need to mix the gas before putting the bottle of gas MIG welding. The method used is to place the bottle gas in the ground run horizontally back to mix the throttle. After the gas meters to secure the gas cylinder into three parts.
Step 2: Now turn the MIG welder and set the right levels of temperature and speed cable. It is essential to note that the standard heat settings (used for carbon steel), will not be suitable for welding stainless steel and a greater amount of heat required to weld steel steel. The best advice is to refer to your welding to verify the initial configuration of test for heat and wire speed. A time to adjust heat levels, conducting a test run with the welder to see that the settings are correct.
Step 3: Cut a piece of steel tube and a piece of steel pipe carbon steel with a length with a band saw. It is important to note that when cutting stainless steel with a bandsaw, slow and at the same time, the use of cutting fluid to keep the band saw cold.
Step 4: You must have 20 degree bevel on the edges of cut pieces of pipe. This is done using a grinder, holding at a constant temperature of 20 degrees to give a more filling line. Be sure not to touch the pipe because the pipe mill hot during milling.
Step 5: Once the edges are based pipes correctly, place one end Beveled steel pipe against the beveled end of the welding of stainless steel pipes to a 1/16th of an inch space between the two pieces pipe. Then put a nail in the solder joint to maintain the pipes. Similarly, the deployment of the pipes and give way to one-inch intervals around the circumference of the pipe. ITOS necessary to maintain the solder gap 1/16th inch in the right circle.
Step 6: Now start piping welding. Begin to weld stainless steel tubing and slowly get the puddle of water on the carbon steel pipe. Furthermore, deployment in MIG gun a circle to the flow of the pond to create a good weld while watching the bottom of the weld penetration for adequate security. During the welding process, if you notice that the carbon tube is low-cut is needed to reduce heat in the MIG welder and I repeat.

I can ¿T304 stainless steel welding carbon steel MIG welder with a?
The title explains quite well. I want to add a resonator (stainless T304) to my exhaust (stainless steel) with the help of friends and a MIG welder. MIG has some experience, and I just want to know if possible. Thank you. Maybe I should rephrase that ... stainless steel welding shop can exhaust carbon steel? No matter what I think, I just want a good weld.
It is completely possible. Welding of mild steel is not really a problem as long as you use the type of wire or rod (depending on the type of welding you use ...). Use 309 or 310 stainless steel - it will be your best bet for a mixture of base metals and filler.
