Is it difficult to get off a ski lift?
So, I'm going with my friends skiing for the weekend soon, and i am terrified of getting off a ski lift. I've never gone skiing before but all my friends have and their pretty good. I'm just scared im going to lose my balance, (the little that i have) fall, and get in their way.
Gaah i hope i dont suck at skiing!
It's easy to learn, but you can expect to fall once or twice. Most lifts have a gentle slope where you get off, so all you have to do is stand up and your skis will carry you away from the chair. To make it easier to start, hand your poles to your friends until you get the hang of it. You may even want to hold their hands the first few times to help with balance.
