Jet Ski Pwc
Does anyone here know waverunners / jet ski / Seadoos / PWC / etc?
I am looking to buy a jet ski and I find two 1997 Kawasaki STX 1100's. They look decent from what I've heard so far. One of them has 100 hours and the other has 80 hours. He flushed after each use. Than claims to have had problems with them, but I'll see when I see them. Anyway, I am familiar with regular boats, but not PwC. So I wonder how many hours is too much? Will these last things, or am I just going to be pulling $ 5500 out the window? Of course I will have my marine mechanic inspect before buying, But before spending $ 100 + to have them inspected, do you think this is a good deal? Thanks
The hours are not important. You can buy personal watercraft they have great service records and stored inside. They are 97's I would say that any boat 10 years + worth less than $ 2000 each. I bought a 94 Sea Doo in a double trailer 300 last week. Older boats are not just worth it. The helmets are out of date and not as stable. HASV engines less energy and use more fuel.
