Boat Cover Fits
Is it ok to post a cover letter online when it only asks for a resume? I feel a Cover letter will benefit me.?
I will be graduating in the Spring with a Bachelor's in Mechanical engineering and I am searching for a job opportunity in the marine industy. I have found several jobs with the Brunswick Corporation that I am interested in. When applying you have to submit your resume in html code on the website. It doesn't ask for a cover letter but I feel that I can reflect my great interest in the marine industry through a cover letter. I have a bass boat that I have totally restored including installing a new powerhead on the Mercury equipped engine. I don't feel this would be proper to include on a resume but I think it would fit great on a cover letter. What would be the best way to submit a cover letter if it does not ask for one? A cover letter would be fine in those circumstances. It is good because it is related to you abilities and because it is directed to a specific employer.
