Should I Take My Boat to Cooperstown Or Will I Not have Any Spare Time to Fish Lake Otsego?

Going to Cooperstown for a week to watch my son play. We are staying by Lake Otsego and was thinking that any "down" time might be spent doing a little bass fishing. My question is "will there be any down time?". Also, I'm not talking all day fishing but an hour to 3 hours per day or so would be more than enough. I plan on watching my son and going to the Hall of Fame and the different contests and what not but I like to be busy and am ate up with fishing to boot.
